Passion for Music
Music Lovers blog was created to bring together music enthusiasts to communicate with each other and to come together for the love of music. This isn't limited to one specific genre of music but can be about anything from country to classical music. This blog can reach out to anyone who has a passion for music from the young to the old. Music has always been an interest of mine and until recently I decided to work toward making it a career of mine as well. I spend a lot of time enjoying music through the radio, iTunes, and even the music apps Spotify and Pandora. Through these applications I have discovered many new types of music and artists that I absolutely love and it has expanded my passion for the art of lyrics and sound. I also spend some time attending concerts to view my favorite artists in person as well as discover new emerging artists. There is nothing like the feeling of going to a live show where you can feel the presence of the artist and really feel the music as well as gather with your peers who enjoy the same sounds as you do. I hope this blog can simulate that same feeling where like-minded people can get together and share their love for music.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great concept for your blog. Music is something everyone loves whether it's one genre of music or another. I am personally a Pandora addict and I love having so many different stations to listen to all kinds of different music and being introduced to new artists I might not have thought of to give a listen to. You have just gained an intrigued reader.
What kind of information will you be posting on the blog to bring people together? Will you be providing certain favorites of your own and allowing followers to post on it and discuss how they feel about it? How do they know what kind of music material you will be posting and if they want to follow it without knowing your musical interests?
ReplyDeleteI like the idea you have presented here Kim its refreshing and intriguing to the point of me actually wanting to know more. I agree with you about their being no greater rush then the atmosphere at a really good live show I really enjoy seeing great artist perform live and sound just at crisp and clear as they do on record. I can say this blog did leave me to wonder what type of music you like yourself. I look forward to seeing where you take this site Kim.
ReplyDeleteSorry guys, I'm still trying to get the hang of this blogging. Thank you Taryn, Cas, and Yasmin for your comments. This blog is meant to pique everyone's musical tastes. My own preferences include a variety from Country to Hip-Hop music. I like a lot of different types of music. The things I expect to be posting is new information on up-coming artists, new songs hitting the radio, news on different artists of different genres, and even some personal posts of concerts that I attend to songs that I like. I encourage others to post stuff they are interested as well. Thanks again!
